On the 2nd. November, 2001, the church exchanged contracts on a building located in Cable Street, Manchester.  Purchase was completed in May, 2002. The cost of the building was 290,000GBP.

The building is located just over 5 minutes walk from China Town and five minutes from the two central bus terminals in Manchester.  This places it within one bus ride of most parts of Greater Manchester.  Accessibility for all parts of the church (students, locals etc.) is superior to the present location in Whalley Range and better for most than the previous prospective building (the Polygon Building).

Car access and parking are also good, with parking being superior to the previous prospect.

Cable Street is a small street off Oldham Road. The building itself is two blocks from the Wing Yip Wholesale market.

The building is an old Victorian Mill with four floors and a semi-basement. Although half the floor space of the previous prospect feasibility studies by the architects have shown it to provide ample space for the church's present needs and future growth.

As the building is a listed building (i.e. of architectural importance) it will be necessary to submit detailed plans in order to win planning approval.  The cost for this phase will be 78,000GBP. The architects were commissioned to begin this phase of the work in June 2002 and are aiming to win planning approval in April, 2003.
